SEND
At Amotherby, we believe that children should have their needs identified at the earliest opportunity. We have a series of systems in place which allow teachers to highlight any areas where they feel a child may need additional support. The teacher will then work closely with our SENDCO to ensure the correct provision is put in place. This may include accessing external specialists where we work closely with the NYCC SEND Hub.
We believe in providing an inclusive environment and curriculum which allows all children to reach their potential. Should you have any concerns or queries surrounding your child's learning or development, you should contact our SENDCO Kim Cooper on admin@amotherby.n-yorks.sch.uk to arrange a meeting.
Please see our SEND policy and SEND information report for more information.
