Keeping Myself Safe

Everyone has the right to feel safe both at school and at home. If something is making you feel unsafe or unhappy then it is really important that you talk to an adult that you trust so that they can help you.

At school you can talk to your teacher, teaching assistant or any other adult who you feel comfortable with and at home you can talk to your parents or carers or another adult you trust such as a grandparent or an uncle or auntie.

If you don't feel comfortable talking to any of the adults at home or school then you could talk to Childline which is is free, confidential and available any time, day or night. You can call them on 0800 1111 or visit their website: https://www.childline.org.uk/

It is really important that you remember the rules we teach you at school to help yourself keep safe. These include the PANTS rules and the SMART rules.

Remember - it is not your fault if someone is making you feel unsafe.
